Sometimes i think i might be a magpie as all things shiny just seem to appeal to me and with the Sara Hill Makeup range that’s no different.
Sara Hill Makeup is inspired by fashion, club kids, pop culture & chain smoking aunties, Sara Hill Make-up is non-conformist, expert beauty that doesn’t patronise, apologise or explain. I love this idea because it’s all what i think makeup should be about although i dont agree with the whole chain smoking aunties thing
Sara Hill Makeup launches after 5 years in creation. Born from a desire to ‘free the freckle’ by creating the perfect foundation, Sara has developed a brand offering a full range of makeup that loves all. Doesn’t dictate or shame; is witty, charismatic, honest and supportive. Sara Hill is the girl at a party who will tell you that you have lipstick on your teeth and that you absolutely rock a full face of freckles. It’s a pop of bright orange lipgloss in a sea of beige, a smear of glitter in a room full of suits.
My favourite from the range has to be the metallic pigments and glitters, I was sent the shade Schnapps which is a light peachy pink its really fine and goes on well although i find that you do need to apply a cream base before applying this will make the pigment brighter and more vivid. For £17* i think its a bit much its a tad expensive but if the product is worth it then why not?
Next we have one of the Matte Lipsticks in I-AM is the perfect nude its a beige pink and reminds me quite a bit of the Kylie Jenner shade of lip. The Matte Lipsticks are long lasting, feather proof and have a high-impact colour. Continuously conditioning and ultra moisturising, Sara Hill Lipstick ingredients include Shea Butter, Avocado, Jojoba, Vitamins A, C and E. Preservative free.
Lastly we have the Luxury Face Primer which comes in this black tube that reminds me of the Daniel Sandler Retexturizing Primer one of my favourite primers ever. The Luxury Primer is a ultra lightweight, silky and when applied allows your foundation to blend easily and smoothly on top. It is also a great skin boost product for those make-up free days creating a soft, natural dewy glow. The Luxury Primer is £27
All in all i think it’s a great range, the products are great quality and they are all cruelty free as well which is a big plus. I just keep wondering would pay high end prices for products i might not like i supposed its a good thing that Sara Hill has a pop up shop if you are in Glasgow that you can check out. I think it’s more of a personal thing it’s just my opinion, the products are great quality and look amazing but a rather high price, If you want to try it you can find the range online at sarahill.com
