Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Muse Palette Review

Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Muse Palette Review

Hey Beauties!

Don’t you just love this time of year? I just turn into a kid, I absolutely love Christmas and always have – so when this time of year comes around I’m all giddy and happy. One of the things I love most about Christmas is the makeup! How could you not love it? It is the one time of the year where glitter and sparkle is acceptable in your everyday makeup.

Colour and Pigmentation

The Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Muse Palette contains some beautiful colours which are perfect for the Christmas season. Containing shimmery eyeshadows, you will definitely be set for partying during the holidays. The eyeshadows in this palette are pretty pigmented the “Pop” shade being the most pigmented as its basically glitter. As with all Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow palettes, they are colour coded 1 being the prime colour which is placed all over the lid, 2 being the enhance shade used to enhance the eyeshadow to take it to another level, 3 is the pop shade this is the shimmer and glitter that is placed in the centre of the eye and the smoke shade if you are going out to party and want to take your makeup from day to night.

Application

These eyeshadows apply really well. They are soft and seem to go on without any major problems, I would have liked maybe one matte shade that could be used as a contouring colour for defining the eyes but all in all I can’t complain

Wear Time

I found that using these shades you will get a full days’ or nights’ worth no bother when used with an eye primer under it. However, with oily lids you might need to use a mattifying primer on your lids as these colours are so creamy and buttery they might slide right off you

Packaging

I love the packaging of this palette. On the outside you have this gorgeous starry design which feels rather Christmassy and inside you’re greeted with a good-sized mirror for makeup touch ups on the go. I do have to mention that although it’s a great palette when it arrived 3 of the pans were loose and wobbling around the palette so I had to glue them back down into place myself so take care when opening it for the first time.

I love my dolce vita palette, but agree that most of the CT palettes need a matte shade in there to use in the crease! I have to say the product in the pan looks totally different to the swatches though! xx

  • I’ve got the dolce vita one and while I do love it, I kind of wish there was a little brush with it so that it made it a bit more travel-friendly. But the colours of her products are always so lovely!
