First of all holy hell the last few weeks have been insane, I’ve been so busy with college and assessments I haven’t had time to do anything other than college work but hopefully now that’s all done I’ll have more time to post!
Today I wanted to do a post on an awesome highlighter I recently got because you all know how much I love a good highlighter. This highlighter is nothing new but its taken me such a long time to actually commit to trying it haha.
Colour and Pigmentation
theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer is a soft golden highlight which a soft shimmer no glitter at all just this gorgeous soft shimmer. If you are a regular reader you will know that my problem with some highlighter is that they aren’t pigmented enough and are usually just quite glittery, well I think I’ve found a highlighter that isn’t glitter and is really pigmented!
Application of theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer is so easy its one of those really finely milled highlighters so you dont have to work to hard to get it to blend. I usually use something like the Highlighter Brush from Girl Meets Brush this brush is fantastic for applying highlighter because it isnt so sparse that it doesnt pick up any product and it isnt super dense that you just get to much product on the brush and it would be hard to blend its just perfect!

I wouldnt say there is any special in terms of wear time it seems to last pretty well I had a client I used this on last week and she said it lasted all day which is good so you could say it lasted around 4 hours before you would need to reapply.
Im a sucker for good packaging and you have to admit the packaging for Mary-Lou Manizer is pretty cool! It comes in a standard size compact containing 8.5g of product which I would say is pretty good for the price. I know this might seem insignificant but i like the fact it comes with a mirror so you can apply it on the go theres nothing worse than having to reapply something blind.
Price and Where to Buy
You can find Mary-Lou Manizer (£20*) in a couple of places, i know that its sold in Superdrug stores and online and it is also sold in Debenhams.
