First Impressions: Davines MOMO Shampoo and Conditioner

First Impressions: Davines MOMO Shampoo and Conditioner

Hey Beauties!

I realised the other day i haven’t talked much about hair products in quite a while so  i thought i would give you my first impressions on a new shampoo and conditioner that i am using. The lovely people at Davines sent me this shampoo and conditioner for dry and dehydrated hair, lets just say it was very welcomed when it arrived haha.

Davines is an italian based company and  i would describe them as sustainable! they are all about looking after the environment and bettering the world that we are in, i like to think of them as the same principles as Lush but for hair.

“The Davines Group was founded by the Bollati family in Parma, Italy in 1983 as a high-end hair care research lab. After a decade of honing our expertise and formulas, the Davines brand was created. Since the start, we’ve focused on crafting quality products that are scientifically engineered for effectiveness and express our distinctive style and spirit. As a B-Corp company, we make everything with special attention to and respect for our environment. Davines products are still made in Parma today with a combination of the highest-quality natural ingredients and scientific rigor. As firm believers in curiosity, open-mindedness and exploration, and with a high regard for culture in all its forms, we are constantly developing concepts and products that challenge the mainstream conceptions of beauty. Though we are an international company, our roots are planted in our heritage as a family-owned lab, guided by the desire for quality products with timeless appeal.

First Impressions: Davines MOMO Shampoo and Conditioner

I have quite dry/dehydrated hair i think it just comes with the territory of having coarse hair so im always on the lookout for something that came tame this mane. MOMO is a moisturising shampoo for dry and dehydrated hair with a pH of 5.5 and contains Rocket extract packed with essential fatty acids, Vitamins C & B which help to restore the depleted hair and boost vitality, Sweet Almond Proteins bond with the keratin in hair forming a protective layer against environmental aggressors tackling the causes of static-ridden, stressed hair. MOMO shampoo also uses an Olive Oil derivative to gently cleanse, rejuvenating the hair shaft for added shine.

I have only used this 2 so far and i have to admit im on the fence, i am rather picky with what shampoos i like to use so ill need to try this out more but so far i like it it does leave my hair feeling softer and more manageable.
MOMO shampoo contains 250ml of product for £15.45*. Available on

When I took the the MOMO Conditioner out of the bad i have to admit i was a bit apprehensive about the packaging but the more i thought about it, this box might actually be the best type of packaging for conditioner because i dont know about you but its so hard to squeeze out conditioner when your hands are all wet now you wont have to do that because you can just scoop it from the box.
MOMO Conditioner is pH 3.5 conditioner which falls on the acidic side of the pH scale so this won’t disturb the scalps hydro-lipid barrier. MOMO Conditioner is formulated using a group of ingredients that work as a team to quench the thirst of dehydrated hair creating a light, protective layer on each strand. Milk Thistle oil, which is packed with essential fatty acids and natural polymer Rhizobian Gum attract and hold moisture, locking it in to the shaft, but only where it is needed. The Panthenol (also known as pro-vitamin B5) and Jojoba oil strengthen, soften and add shine without weighing the hair down.

I think the conditioner is the star of this pair, i can usually tell if i will like a conditioner from the first use and this is something im going to keep using not just for the ease of use packaging but because it made my hair so incredibly soft and shiny!
MOMO Conditioner contains 250ml of product for £17.20*, available on
