GUEST POST: My Five Festival Favourites

I am very excited to be guest posting here on Andrew’s fantastic blog, as well as getting to be a part of his new series of guest posts on a Saturday. I thought what else would be more fitting than my favourite beauty bits and pieces for festivals. As in the UK they are in full swing, with Glastonbury just been and T in the Park this weekend, which I must admit I wish I was there dancing away to Calvin Harris tonight. However, if I was there I would make sure that these five beauty essentials are packed and…

KIKO Wanderlust Summer 2016 Collection Review

Hey Beauties! Kiko has slowly become one of my favourite brands, I don’t know about you but I will always have a lot of time for brands that can create really high quality product but at an affordable price. I recently got to try out the new collection for summer aptly called “Wanderlust” if you dont know what wanderlust is its a very strong or irresistible impulse to travel. So being a summer collection i thought it was a perfect name! I’m so glad that Kiko is more readily available in the UK, a standalone store recently opened on Buchanan Street in…

Hey Beauties! Who else was really excited for the launch of this collection? hands up! haha. Since the last Alice in Wonderland Collection i have been wondering what they were going to bring out for Through the Looking Glass. Lets just say im not disapointed. This collection contains 5 new lipsticks in different formulas from matte to metallics and a gorgeous palette! I always think that these kinds of collections are thought out so well that you’re almost buying for the packaging as well as the makeup itself. Starting with the lipsticks, they come in 5 different shades and 3…

Ariana Grande: The New Face of MAC Viva Glam

Hey Beauties! If you are a fan of Ariana Grande then i have great news for you! She has been named as the next MAC Viva Glam girl joining the likes of  Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga and Rihanna. You will be able to find this collection out next year in January to be precise. As always the MAC Viva Glam is such a fantastic thing because all of the proceeds go towards helping women, men and children living with and affected by HIV/Aids which is such a great thing because i can’t think of another brand apart from the obvious being Lush…

Brand Overview: Sara Hill Makeup

Hey Beauties! Sometimes i think i might be a magpie as all things shiny just seem to appeal to me and with the Sara Hill Makeup range that’s no different. Sara Hill Makeup is inspired by fashion, club kids, pop culture & chain smoking aunties, Sara Hill Make-up is non-conformist, expert beauty that doesn’t patronise, apologise or explain. I love this idea because it’s all what i think makeup should be about although i dont agree with the whole chain smoking aunties thing Sara Hill Makeup launches after 5 years in creation. Born from a desire to ‘free the freckle’ by…

Illamasqua Glamore Lipstick in Virgin Review

Hey Beauties! I thought i would do a post today on this awesome lipstick from Illamasqua called Virgin (£18.50*) Its is a part of a collaboration between Illamasqua and Virgin Atlantic to celebrate their 30th anniversary also after the revealing of the redesigned iconic red uniforms, from what i understand this shade of lipstick aptly named Virgin will be worn by all of the staff at the airline. Colour and Pigmentation Virgin is a warm cherry colour which reminds me a lot of MAC Ruby Woo actually so it would be great for you guys who want a change but i’ve…

Save or Splurge – Illamasqua Matte Lip Liquid vs MUA Luxe Velvet Lip …

I have not done one of these posts in so long now i thought it might be time to do another Save or Splurge post. The first thing i want to say is this post is not a colour dupe post its more of a product dupe post in terms of Matte liquid lipsticks. So to get started im actually rather surprised at the quality of the MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer because if you saw my review of the Illamasqua Matte Lip Liquid* i talked about how i was sceptical i mean another matte liquid lipstick how good can it…

Hey Beauties!
