Holy Grail Concealer! – Mary Kay Review

Hey Beauties! Mary Kay was a brand i had never even considered slightly, it was one of those thoughts of “oh another brand that i dont really know” but i have to say i was completely wrong about my thoughts as i was actually surprised at the quality of this concealer from Mary Kay which has become one of holy grail products for covering up blemishes to brightening under eyes and even using Ivory 2 as a Kim Kardashian-esque highlight. Colour and Pigmentation Something i didnt expect from this Mary Kay was the extensive colour range as a 3 different colours in each…

Maybelline The Eraser Eye Concealer Review

Hey Beauties! How are you all doing? You have no idea how popular this concealer is. Every time I have gone into Boots or Superdrug it has always been sold out – apart from that one time I managed to almost fight someone for it.  I found the last one in Boots, Braehead, and I was literally thanking whatever gods might be out there that I had managed to get my hands on another one because there were rumours out there that this was getting discontinued. I know getting excited about a concealer seems crazy but, really, this is worth it.…

Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer Review

Hey Beauties! It’s not very often these days that I’m wowed by a product but I think it’s safe to say that I was pretty blown away with how good this concealer is! It really lives up to its name of Amazing Concealer. Colour and Pigmentation The Amazing Concealer has an extensive range of 20 different colours from Ivory to Warm Deep. For a makeup brand that isn’t as big as your department store brands, I think that it is fantastic that they are catering for all skin colours. The pigmentation of the concealer again is …amazing, you only need the…

Real Techniques set to launch Sculpting & Concealer brushes

Hey Beauties! If you are a regular readers you will know i am a big fan of Real Techniques they are really affordable, great quality and last much longer than some of the other brushes i have had from higher end brands. Real Techniques are set to launch 2 new brushes which rather intrigue me. First of the new launches we have the Sculpting Brush which is said to feature a wide angled head which is specifically designed to help create defined contours on the face. So this would be a good brush to use with either powder or cream contour.…

Benefit Fakeup Dupe? – Makeup Revolution The One Concealer

Hey Beauties! Lately everyone has been going crazy over this relatively new brand “Makeup Revolution” and i can see why. They offer affordable products and are really great quality i’ve tried a few things so far and have been really impressed. The Makeup Revolution The One Concealer has a concealer core with a hydrating ring just like the Benefit Fakeup but its a little smaller than Fakeup. I find that the One Concealer is a bit more hydrating because the ring is bigger so its perfect for those of you with dry skin whereas fakeup contains a larger concealer core…

How to Contour and Highlight with Different Types of Products

I thought i would do a post on how to contour and highlight, ive seen quite a lot of these posts about but they have been rather simplistic and haven’t really explained anything also i found a lot of the posts were saying to contour with bronzers which is absolutely wrong. Contouring is used to create definition in the face you use block brown colours with as little red as possible as you are trying to create shadows as your trying to hollow out these areas but if you use a red based product then it will start to look…

How to get the Perfect Base

Hey Beauties! I thought i would do a post on how to get the perfect base today a little break from tons of reviews. I think the base is so important to your overall makeup because you have to lay the foundations to make everything else look good. When people talk about base its usually just foundation and concealer but i think Base is so much more than just that i think it incorporates a lot of different things to ive a final pulled together well done look First of all you need to prep the skin, use prep products that are…

Makeup Atelier Paris Corrector Concealer Palette Review

Hey Beauties! I recently got this palette from Makeup Atelier and as you know you if you’re a regular reader i love Makeup Atelier everything i have tried from them has been fantastic. Pigmentation/Colour   I love this palette because the consistency of the concealers are really creamy the first colour is quite a peach/salmon tone which would be good for under eye concealing because its the creamiest of the palette it would counteract darkness and brighten up the eye area. The rest of the colours are your concealers i would think as they have a thicker texture but still quite creamy they work…
