Hey Beauties! Lately ive been really into skincare and trying new things, so when i had the chance to try out The Ordinary i just had to do it! As always im quite late on this bandwagon but from what ive tried i’ve liked. I wanted to talk about the Lactic Acid that The Ordinary does. If you haven’t heard of The Ordinary before they are a company that gives you no bullshit, you know what you are getting. The products are all high quality for affordable prices making skincare accessible to those who want things they may not be…

Hey Beauties! I feel like its been so long since i have done a Save or Splurge post. When i was in superdrug recently I found out that the Real Techniques 301 Bold Metals and the Makeup Revolution Ultra Metals Contour Brush look pretty much the same…..but do they perform the same? Both brushes are what is called a flat top contour brush, these basically give you a really defined contour because the brush itself is really densely packed. I like the fact that both look very high end and feel very luxe in the hand i do feel the Real Techniques…

Hey Beauties! I dont usually do these types of posts but i thought why not seeing as i constantly talk about how amazing products are, i thought for once i might talk about the products that disappointed me in one way or another. I dont usually come across products that i dont like that much as im rather obsessive about finding out about products before buying them but here i think these were kind of impulsive purchases. This was definitely impulsive as it wasnt cheap i think i paid around £25+! I had tried the shampoo of the Marula Oil…

Hey Beauties! When you’re starting out with makeup knowing what makeup brush does what can be a bit mind-boggling, so I thought I would list my must have makeup brushes, what they do and how I use them You might find that with makeup brushes the packaging might say its say for example a concealer brush, but it might be used for something completely different like laying down eyeshadow or filling in your lips. I use a variety of different brushes from high-end brands to high street. Right now my favourite brand for brushes is Real Techniques as they offer…

Hey Beauties! I know a lot of “Insta” things are really tacky these days but if im honest,  i really liked this collection from Rimmel. Gone are the days where drugstores produced substandard makeup a lot of these brands are real contenders for higher end products. The #Insta is all about capturing the essence of the selfie! Containing products such as correctors & concealers, contour & highlighters, powders and a setting spray. My personal favourite from this collection has to be the #Insta Duo Contour Stick as the quality is really high and the highlighter side is gorgeous!   First…

Hey Beauties! Today im going to talk about that one budget highlighting palette that is on everyone’s faces, you see it being used in a lot of YouTube videos and i finally got my hands on it! I feel like because it is so popular it is impossible to get your hands on it, i think i went into Superdrug about 5 times before it was actually in stock. Colour and Pigmentation The Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette contains 4 different shades of highlighter: Ecliptic – a rosy pink cream, Hemisphere – a cool lavender which is a baked powder so this gives…

Hey Beauties! Mary Kay was a brand i had never even considered slightly, it was one of those thoughts of “oh another brand that i dont really know” but i have to say i was completely wrong about my thoughts as i was actually surprised at the quality of this concealer from Mary Kay which has become one of holy grail products for covering up blemishes to brightening under eyes and even using Ivory 2 as a Kim Kardashian-esque highlight. Colour and Pigmentation Something i didnt expect from this Mary Kay was the extensive colour range as a 3 different colours in each…

Hey Beauties! The Smashbox Full Exposure Palette is one of my go to palettes it has everything you could ever need in one place and dare i say its better than the naked palette! My first impression were that it was a great palette but wasn’t expecting much as there are a lot of new neutral palette releases these days and i didn’t think this would be any different but i was wrong! Colour and Pigmentation This palette really surprised me in terms of pigmentation and colour i thought it would be just another neutral palette but its safe to say…
